Our Mission

Founded in 2007, Rural Faith Development Community Development Corporation (known as RFD CDC) serves as a catalyst for things hoped for. Using asset-based development, RFD CDC assists congregations, communities, counties, and an array of not-for-profits.

RFD CDC has two divisions, The Consulting and Development Division and NETworX a national poverty movement to reduce poverty. Both divisions share the same core objective of serving as a catalyst for the well-being of individuals and communities. The divisions benefit from the wisdom of six+ staff members including social workers, a human development and race relations specialist, an accountant and developer/contractor/real estate broker who became a United Methodist pastor, district superintendent and founder of RFD CDC.
